host.name.my Trust Services

Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Service. host.name.my provides an electronic signing platform and document verification. Signatures are produced using our private Certificate Authority.

2. Not a licensed or public CA. This service is not a licensed certification authority and is not a public trust authority. It produces advanced electronic signatures (PAdES/CMS), not qualified digital signatures. Our certificates are not recognised by public trust stores (Adobe/browser) unless the recipient imports our root.

3. Accounts. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Activity under your account is treated as yours.

4. Prohibited use. You may not sign forged documents, deceive, threaten, or break the law. We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service.

5. No fees. This is a private, internal service. No credits, pricing or payment are involved.

6. Limitation of liability. The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

7. Verification. Recipients can verify documents through our portal or the public document record (/d/<token>). Accuracy depends on the document and signature being unmodified.

8. Withdrawal. An owner may withdraw (revoke) a document; verification will then report it as withdrawn.

9. Termination. You may stop at any time. We may terminate the service with reasonable notice.
